      Christian Conduct

As a Christian how important is my behavior (my conduct) in an unbelieving world? Do I make a difference one way or the other? I know I should be "good" but isn't that only to please God? This 4-week series looks at our conduct from an office situation where one person's Christian conduct is on display. Click on any link below to listen to a message.

1. EXPECTATIONS -- (PHILIPPIANS 1:27) (3/20/2011) -- When it comes to Christian conduct, do we even know and understand how we should behave as Christians? Have we been taught God's expectations of proper Christian conduct? If so, do we have a desire to obey those rules? Our conduct as a Christian will be a reflection of how well we know, understand, and obey God's rules.

2. THE WORLD IS WATCHING -- (PHILIPPIANS 1:27) (3/27/2011) -- Christians must have a high standard of conduct at all times—but especially when we are in and around unbelievers. Why? Because too often the unbelieving world has the Christian under the magnifying glass just waiting for us to fall and fail. And we can't give them any reasons to talk.

3. ACCOUNTABILITY -- (EPHESIANS 4:1,2) (4/3/2011) -- Do we care and love our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ enough to hold them accountable for their poor conduct? We should. Christians are to judge those inside the church.

4. WITNESS -- (1PETER 3:13-17) (4/10/2011) -- What should you do when you have an opportunity to right a wrong? Do it! Why? It gives you the opportunity to plant. It gives you the opportunity to water. It gives you the opportunity to be a light in a dark world. The light of your forgiving Spirit outweighs the darkness of your poor conduct.
